This staging job was an older home in the Mississauga/ Clarkson area. We walked in to find that many upgrades where needed through-out the entire house. We had five days to replace the flooring, lighting and counter tops, repaint paint, and of course stage. We were able to get it all done within the time frame and a $20,000.00 budget. It was all worth it when the house sold in 3 days for $200,000.00 over the original asking price.

The living and dining room in particular started as a dark and gloomy space. To brighten the space we had pot lighting installed and added natural light by switching out the old draperies to white sheers. Those changes alone gave the space new life and a new purpose. Unfortunately, with all the new light in the space, the wood-burning fireplace covered with soot stood out even more. We quickly took charge and added some primer and paint to make the stone look brand new.

The monochromatic colour scheme needed a little punch and we accomplished that with some fun blue tones and sparkle. We love to add sparkle on any given day, however the new lighting allowed for the sparkle to bounce perfectly, for optimal glitter.

A perfect example of what a few upgrades and professional staging can to do a house!
