Wrap Star Nicholas Rosaci shares how cheap, but totally chic, leftover gift-wrap and mod podge can transform old bedside tables into a high-fashion DIY.

Remove any drawer knobs. Use one hundred twenty and two hundred forty grit sandpaper and block or electric orbital sander to smooth the table surfaces. Fill in any large dents in the table with wood filler and sand smooth when dry. For the best finish, remove any dust and residue with a damp cloth.

Cut pieces of fabric or gift-wrap paper large enough to cover the legs, top, sides, drawers and any other sections of the table.

Work one section at a time and remove the drawers to decoupage separately. Brush on a thin layer of white glue or Mod Podge onto the section. (Tip: If you want the glue a little thinner, mix it with just a small amount of water.) Then, brush a thin layer of glue to the underside of the fabric or gift-wrap and affix in place onto the table.

Using your fingers, smooth out any air bubbles. Ensure any loose edges are thoroughly glued down. Replace any table hardware, and be sure to accessorize the table top!
