Modern Bathroom Designs – Earlier this month, Riobel introduced a brand new collection to its product offerings. Fresk offers a fresh, modern style available in an 8″ lavatory faucet, tall single hole lavatory faucet or short single hole lavatory faucet. The Fresk collection offers a clean, simple style that blends beautifully with a wide variety of design styles. To celebrate the launch of this new collection, I’ve created a few brand new bathroom design boards featuring the Fresk collection!

Naturally Modern

For my first design concept, I wanted a modern take on a nature-inspired design featuring the Fresk 8″ lavatory faucet. To set the base, I choose a marble tile floor with a grasscloth wall treatment. I also choose a 4D Wall Tile which I imagine being used to create a focal point behind a freestanding tub.

A crisp white waterfall double vanity gives the space a very modern feel while the dark wood drawers and mirrors add warmth in natural, earthy tones.

There are three things every bathroom needs: black details to ground the space, greenery and plush towels. I choose black and white artwork with black pendant lights for my touch of black and a succulent display for greenery that pairs perfectly with the cactus themed artwork. Luxurious white towels with simple black stripes fill the final requirement while adding a little detail.

For a finishing touch, I added a set of classically modern grooming products that are pretty enough to be used as decor and have a very natural look and feel.

Monochromatic Versatility

With this design concept, my goal was to create a modern feel with plenty of character but in a space that can very easily be changed from season to season or to suit your color preferences as they evolve.

Choosing a monochromatic color scheme of grey, black, white and silver creates a space that can be personalized with nearly any color and can easily be changed over time simply by replacing decorative items.

The Monopole tiles used for the floor give the room instant character and I choose a paint color for the walls that matches the lightest color on the tile. This created a light, airy space to work with. (The color shown is Simplicity D40-6-1594-0 by Beauti-tone but I used a digital image of the tile to color match on Beauti-tone’s color finder app. I would recommend taking a sample of the actual tile to Home Hardware and having them match it for a perfect match).

For a touch of drama, I choose a modern floating double vanity in black with matching mirrors. The vanity is topped with a white countertop, double vessel sinks in a modern shape and the tall Fresk single hole lavatory faucet. Finally, LED pendant lights hung between and on either side of the mirror and a beautiful white orchid adds a touch of luxury to the space.

With the key pieces of this design in place, now you add in your own color with accessories. For a soft, coastal vibe, I choose a seaside art piece with accessories in a pale blue and grey towels with pale blue detailing. I then switched up the look for a more whimsical pop of color with grey chevron towels with yellow trim, grey chevron accessories with yellow detailing and a canvas art piece featuring a yellow bicycle.
