The thing about Canadians is that we just can’t wait to get outdoors as soon as the weather gets even slightly warm. With soaring housing prices, the cottage escape is out of reach for many Canadians. Homeowners without cottages are now transforming their backyards into an oasis. As a result, outdoor kitchens have grown in popularity.

Quality BBQ: Gone are the days of briquettes and lighter fluid. The gas BBQ has upped its game with many brands now offering outdoor solutions with the quality and functionality you would expect from an indoor appliance.

Work Surfaces: Integrating low maintenance work surfaces is they to designing a functional outdoor kitchen. I prefer to use Dekton by Cosentino which creates an exceptionally beautiful surface without any of the issues you might have with other surface materials.
