It’s been almost one year since we showed the world what Canada is all about – hosting the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and capturing 14 gold medals! It was our most successful Olympic Games ever, thanks to a dedicated team – including proud Canadians like you.

To mark this special anniversary, we want to rekindle some of that awesome spirit that surrounded last year’s Games.

Cheer, enjoy and be part of the excitement.

There are a number of events and contests planned in Vancouver and across Canada, here are a few of the highlights:

  • Anniversary Special – Watch on February 13, 2011 your favourite moments of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, only on CTV
  • NHL Puck Drops – See some of your favourite Olympians kick off NHL games in Montreal and Vancouver
  • Inspiring Online Updates – Check out individual athlete highlights a year after each event
  • Exciting Contests – Watch for your chance to participate and win fabulous prizes on Facebook and Twitter

To learn more visit the COC website at www.olympic.ca and find the team on both Facebook (Canadian Olympic Team) and Twitter (@CDNOlympicTeam).

Show your pride. Show your support.

As exciting as it is to remember the success of Vancouver, let’s not forget the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London and in the 2014 Olmypic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. Our athletes are very focused on training right now, preparing to do our country proud all over again. Let’s show these newest team members that we are behind them all the way to the podium!

Take a moment to be their champion, as they strive to be yours. Make a donation to the Canadian Olympic Foundation today.
