I love an eclectic mix in design; old and new, modern and traditional, high vs low, rustic and sleek, soft and comfy mixed with streamlined pieces. Traditional architecture (think Paris apartment, gorgeous marble fireplace, paneled walls, and warm wood floors) all white washed is the perfect backdrop for artfully arranged sculptural modern furnishings. I adore the sharp contrast between the modern pieces of furniture and the new Bordeaux French Antique Series floor by 4 Corners with walls painted in a simple white by Beauti-tone. My favorite is Hotelware FD067-0. This collected look is so timeless and elegant! – Designer Shirley Meisels, MHouse Inc.
