the holiday theme Traditional

the goal Creating a dreamy holiday décor how she created this look? Like any good Holiday treat, the right ingredients make it happen. Here are my ingredients for a perfect Holiday dreams décor. Start with one cup of pure indulgence. There are two key ingredients to add here: one, use the items you love, and, two, use the memories that make you feel good. Try hand-strung popcorn, paper angels, decorative glass balls that add sparkle to your room and your memories. Next step in the Holiday design recipe is, “blend” the new with the old. A hand-painted piece of artwork that was given to me by a long time friend is a great example. This piece, which hangs in the hallway throughout the holiday season, reminds me every day to be grateful for the beautiful gifts I have been given. So, be creative, use beautiful papers and find fabulous ribbons! If you’re great at drawing, then sketch right on the paper.

Jennifer’s styling secret: If you don’t have the inclination (or time!) to swap out your art for special holiday art, you can still enhance any piece you have by simply adding: a touch of greenery, a taste of ribbon, a hint of trimming. These are great ways to connect the dots on your holiday presentation.
