Another issue that can arise when children share a room is the "Mom, Sally put her stuff on MY shelf" battle. Simplify storage options by colour coordinating each child's storage areas. Here, the back of the shelves have been painted in different colours for each child. You can also use coloured bins, hangers or hampers.
