The couple that owned this home wanted a master bathroom that would rival that of the most luxurious hotels, featuring real Italian marble. The inlaid tile design was inspired by marble work done 100 years ago by European masters in the Banff Springs Hotel. This space was tailored to meet the individual requirements of the couple, including separate, custom designed walk-in closets. Her closet was done in white lacquered millwork with built-in furniture and his closet featured dark cherry custom millwork throughout. A 6’ x 7’ marble shower also featured separate shower stations, a steam unit, a sauna unit, a stereo sound system and a built-in bench for relaxing. The vanity has been custom designed to offer each person their own area. For an added touch of luxury, a large soaking tub is located directly adjacent to a double-sided fireplace that is shared with the master bedroom. – Landen Design Build, www.landendevelopment.com
