Amanda Shields is the founder and lead designer at Mint Condition Staging. She started Mint Condition Staging in an effort to help homeowners transform their properties into a stylish and welcoming space that has the broadest market appeal. Most people have a hard time viewing their home through a the eyes of a potential buyer and have difficulty knowing how to neutralize, de-personalize, de-clutter, and then infuse the perfect amount of trend and style. Don’t feel bad if you are one of those people, it’s not easy! With Amanda’s expertise, she aims to highlight the beauty of your home and hide its imperfections. With strategic home staging, her mission is to sell your property faster than you ever imagined and at your desired price. Often times, Amanda’s clients claim they don’t want to sell their home after she is done showcasing it! This has led Amanda into, not only offering home staging as a service, but offering interior redesign and styling services for your forever home too.
Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Design from OCAD University and is a fully certified, CSP “Elite” Home stager that graduated with honours from the Canadian Certified Staging Professional™ program. She is also an affiliate of the Real Estate Staging Association and was recently awarded “Top Ten Rising Star Home Stager of the Year”,competing against the best home stagers all across North America. Prior to her home staging career she was designing and developing home décor products for most of the major mass retailers you know and love. She began her career in home decor working alongside celebrity designer, Joe Mimran as a member of his product design team. She has since managed design projects for Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Target, PC Home, Homesense and Pottery Barn, to name a few. Needless to say, staging for the real estate market was a natural transition for Amanda. She has a passion and knack for knowing what sells and how to get potential buyers on board. She has built a 15 year career on that knowledge and now is thrilled to extend that know-how to you and selling your property for top dollar!
