We asked two designers to submit design boards with a warm, holiday feel. But – there was a catch! One designer was asked to create a luxurious, traditional look while the other was asked to think out of the box and create a modern, fun space with a pink theme!

I can’t see anywhere to vote but I’d go for the more traditional room – for one thing pink isn’t my colour but I am more for traditions 🙂
Canadian Trends magazine has given us the tools to recreate designer spaces I have always dreamt of. It has saved our marraige many times. Helps us see how colour palettes work and especially, placing the furniture.
Keep up the good work.

I love the beautiful and elegant Christina’s Gold Christmas Look. I am looking for an affordable chair like this one to add to my front room so that I can complete the look! 🙂
I’m glad to see that we can now vote, thank you 🙂
I love your magazine!
Wow! The pink room is great … especially the rug. Don’t know about a pink tree tho! Either of the white/cream chairs would fit into any colour scheme and their size is workable. I’ll take either room! lol
since it’s for the holidays only, the room can be changed afterwards – so I will go with the pink design because I like the options of kicking up the colour by a few octaves with a FEW pink accents.
