This twenty-five hundred square foot home is a real standout, with its front facade of glass and its towering three story height, nestled amongst the trees of midtown Toronto. The homeowner and I wanted to create a home that is both modern and functional with hits of colour and warmth.

Living Room
The fireplace in the living room is a great focal point. We mixed several materials to create an interesting composition for the wall. Porcelain concrete-like tile surround, walnut for the storage cabinet, steel floating shelves and a marble countertop were used to create this feature wall. Wonderful pops of colour in the chairs and a contrasting feminine floral area rug soften the space.
