This space is a great example of what you can achieve by simply styling or decorating your home. Other than paint, nothing else was done to alter the existing space.
Creating Spaces
We also wanted to separate the living room from the dining room with a large bookcase. This shelving unit adds a great place for display and it’s something that can be changed whenever the mood strikes. On the opposite side of the fireplace we placed a little console table and used large frames above it to balance with the height of the bookcase. The once not- so-interesting standard living room was transformed into a unique space with a blend of style and comfort suited for this young family.
