This space is a great example of what you can achieve by simply styling or decorating your home. Other than paint, nothing else was done to alter the existing space.
Family Dining
Since the dining room was an extension of the living room we added a few things to pull the two rooms together. The homeowners already had the dining table and we really wanted to bring in chairs that would play off of its rustic feel. We showed the homeowners some options of what we had in mind and being quite resourceful the homeowner’s husband found the chairs on Ebay and they were a perfect fit. We hung a great pendant light above the table to bring in a little sparkle as well we added the mirrored credenza to complete the space. The niche in the dining room was calling out for a hit of pattern and what better way to do this than a great wallpaper. Niches are a perfect place to add a fun wallpaper or a hit of colour. We went with a neutral damask pattern that blended well with the wall colour to pull it all together.
