This space is a great example of what you can achieve by simply styling or decorating your home. Other than paint, nothing else was done to alter the existing space.
Mixing Materials & Textures
We kept the overall colour scheme subtle using greys, taupes, creams and black. When using neutrals you need to bring in some interest or it tends to fall flat. You can achieve this by adding different textures and patterns. We used different materials and textures like the cane back chairs, the knit poof, wood candlesticks, and the lucite coffee table. The visual interest can be seen in the bold striped rug, the patterned cushions on the chairs and the floral throw pillows on the sofa.
