Culinary Experiences. Canadian Style.

This is the slogan for Edible Canada and it rings true from the atmosphere right down to the final course. The bistro, located on Granville Island in Vancouver, was the site of our Editor’s dinner this fall and the event was a fantastic success thanks in large part to the staff at Edible Canada. The open-kitchen-style bistro also offers a private dining space with glass walls which look out over the lights of the island streets and an outdoor patio area of beautiful summer evenings. The décor provides an eclectic mix to excite your visual senses. Chalkboard wall menus offer current specials while rustic wood flooring and handmade pottery offer a unique, local flavor.

The menu at Edible Canada was definitely the highlight of the evening. Delicious seasonal dishes were prepared using local ingredients paired with unique and interesting Canadian ingredients that celebrated Canada’s cultural influences. We sipped on locally sourced wine while enjoying a flavorful menu that included Tuna Tostada, Goat Cheese and Sweet Pea Risotto, Wild Caught Salmon and Goat Cheese White Chocolate Cheesecake, just to name a few! Many compliments to the chef!

Whether you are looking for a unique dining experience for your next date night or a memorable location to host an upcoming special event, Edible Canada is a destination you will want to explore. They host special events with celebrity guest chefs that are a must for foodies of all types and the bistro includes their flagship shop dedicated to sourcing the highest quality culinary products from coast to coast, perfect for adding local flavor to your own kitchen or finding a unique gift for the foodie in your life.
