Osoyoos is a dream vacation destination right here in Canada and for homeowners and vacationers alike, The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake offers endless opportunities for a memorable weekend right at home! Here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy a weekend at The Cottages.
1. Relax on a Private Beach
The Cottages offer 1,800 feet of pristine waterfront including a private beach just steps from your front door! Spend the day soaking up the Okanagan sun, playing in the water, building sandcastles or start up a lively game of beach volleyball! As evening approaches, take advantage of one of the fire pits on the beach. Sit and watch the sunset with friends and family, creating s’mores or just enjoying the beautiful night air!
2. Spend a Day on the Lake
Osoyoos Lake, Canada’s warmest lake, offers the perfect opportunity to spend the day fishing, water skiing or enjoying a picnic out on the water surrounding by spectacular scenery. Your private boat slip makes it easy to enjoy the lake whenever you wish! Canoeing and kayaking are also great ways to enjoy the lake and take in the natural beauty of the valley.
3. Take a Walk
The Cottages offer 2,600 feet of wide, walking trails that wind through-out the community from meadow to beach. Enjoy a quiet walk surrounded by nature or invite a few friends and enjoy the walk together! Taking your dog with you? Make sure to stop at the off-leash pet area so they can enjoy a bit of free play time as well!
4. Host/Attend an Event
The Community Center at The Cottages offers 7,000 square feet of social space, indoor and outdoor kitchens, an exercise room, a pool and a hot-tub. Hosting a community event like a game night, craft night, wine and cheese night, potluck or barbecue is a great way to connect with your neighbors and make new friends! Not really the hosting type? Join in on community events already being planned or simply invite a few of your neighbors to join you for coffee a the center!
5. Relax and Unwind
After a busy day on the beach or walking the trails, the community center’s hot-tub is the perfect place to relax, unwind and do a little star gazing.
