Layered Lighting

Homeowners are choosing larger, multifunctional kitchens that are used for cooking, dining, entertaining and more. As the use of the space changes, so should the lighting and new kitchens in 2013 will achieve this through layered lighting. Layered lighting will allow flexibility in the level and areas of lighting for a more functional kitchen. You can expect to see a variety of lighting such as under cabinet LED lights, pendants, recessed lighting, track lighting, and wall sconces combined to create a layered, flexible lighting scheme.
