Last week, Modular Home Additions and Habitat for Humanity kicked of the newest project with a special wall raising event! Jose and Tanya Costa, along with 12 of their children, wore “Modular Home Additions” hard hats for the event that included Modular staff, Habitat staff and members of the media.
The family, currently living in a five-bedroom, one-bathroom home, were eager to see the construction of their beautiful new 8-bedroom home begin. This will be the largest home the Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area has every undertaken.
Representatives for Modular Home Additions said the event was a memorable experience that has left them even more excited to building this new home! “After seeing at face value how wide-eyed, eager, and blissfully happy each of the 14 family members were as they absorbed the skeletal view of the house, leaving to their imagination as to what the final product will look like, we are confident to making their dreams turn into their reality!”
