The house was built as a family home. When designing the home, Dee Dee used historical references of scale and proportion and modernized it for the here and now. The building appears similar to an Italian Palazzo with a beautiful central courtyard surrounded by the “U” shaped building. The interiors of the house have 10 foot windows, 12 foot high ceilings and tons of open wall space which creates an open and airy feel somewhat like a gallery.
