DIY Faux Bone Inlay Tray

DIY FAUX BONE INLAY TRAY

DIY FAUX BONE INLAY TRAY from our 2020 Home for the Holidays special edition! – Serve holiday beverages and treats on this stylish tray! Start with an inexpensive, unfinished tray from a craft store or an old tray if you have on hand!

Apply two coats of Chalk Paint® in Athenian Black.

Seal this with two coats of Chalk Paint® Gloss Lacquer. Once dry, lay the Annie Sloan Faux Bone Inlay Stencil within the tray – this stencil is made up of three parts, the central motif is one stencil, the border another, and the corners are a third piece.

Make sure you’re happy with the overall layout, and then apply 2-3 coats of Pearlescent Glaze to the middle part. Once that’s dry, apply the Pearlescent Glaze to the border design, and then the corners.
