Colour 101

Gwen Prince, Colour Stylist Gets Inspired in Seattle

My last blog, which was far too long ago, ended with me going to New York City in August 2012 to the 2014 Inspiring Cultures meeting sorry it’s been so long. New York was awesome.  New York inspires creativity where ever you look…but you will have to wait until 2014 for the results of that creative collaboration.

The Comex Inspiring Cultures 2013 trends were created by a round table panel of creative thinkers working in diverse industries from digital media to product design. The 2013 meeting took place in Seattle in August of 2012.  The uniqueness of this group contributed to the energy, ideas and outcome of the 2013 trend palette. The process involved a creative discussion as members of the panel shared their thoughts about the future reflecting on their own industries, collaboratively developing a global vision of decorative interior color for 2013.

While in Seattle we were treated to an incredible private evening tour of the Seattle Art Museum.  Very inspiring if you are in Seattle I highly recommend it.

Seattle itself is  a great city for a colour forecast meeting even if the sky’s might  often be grey it is full interesting restaurants, architecture and pops of colour wherever you go.
