glen peloso

Glen first got involved with the interior design industry through his love for theatre and TV set design. He started with a job with a corporate housing company styling condos for travelling executives. He started his business 20 years ago and his work has earned awards from NKBA and DDA, both of which he is a member of. He now works with both residential and commercial clients. Glen likes to get to know his clients on a personal level to see how they currently live versus how they want to live. He likes to stay updated on trends and media instead of focusing on one type of design. The pandemic has changed the way a lot of things are done which can make it very difficult and frustrating, but he always makes the best of a situation. He loves learning new technologies that allow for work collaborations and that are changing the way people use their space. Everyone’s home is unique to them and Glen Peloso is committed to helping homeowners achieve their design dreams.

CANADIAN HOME TRENDS: If you could have lunch with any one person in the world, who would you pick and why?

GLEN PELOSO: I think it would be fascinating to have lunch with Philippe Starck because he has seen many shifts in the world through the sixties to now and has designed so many things from glasses to homes, boats, museums and orange juicers. His approach and perspective on life, space and the objects we use is unique and while I may bore him as a lunch guest, I would be enthralled.

CHT: If you could go back 20 years, what advice would you give your younger self?

GP: Relax! Trust yourself. Ignore the critics both internal and external. There is no one right answer.

CHT: Name one thing on your bucket list.

GP: Go to the Serengeti to observe the great migration.

CHT: What is your favorite room in your house?

GP: I like my living room because it is rich and colorful, however my dining room is likely my favorite as it holds the best memories of great meals spent with friends and family.
