Trendsetter: Michael Reimer

Shift Accessibility started as a general contractor and the clients quickly found them. They are a Reno Mark and Manitoba Home Builders Association member. They have certification in CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) and the CHBA adaptive living certificate. They started in the construction business 9 years ago. They are the only company in the area that specializes in Accessibility Renovations. The owner, Michael used to be a paramedic which gives him an advantage when dealing with caregivers, disabilities, other health professionals, and disease processes. With an aging population and limited housing options on the market, their business is always growing to meet every need. Their advice to any potential client is to do your own research, and then find the pros and follow their advice as well. – Shift Accessibility, www.accessiblerenovation.ca
