The Challenge: We asked two designers to create bathroom design concepts featuring custom vanities from Dezign Market, lighting options from Litemode and tile selections from The Tile Shoppe. While both designers choose a trendy gold finish for their bathrooms, each created a stunning space with a very different look and feel!
The Perfect Balance with Designer Evelyn Eshun: My goal was to create a personal space that balances natural finishes and luxurious touches. To start this look, I selected a double freestanding vanity and customized it with a Designer White finish, a White Marquina Quartz countertop and Swarovski Geometric Pulls for hardware. Black is Back with Designer Christine Elliott: This bathroom, with its high contrast palette of black and white, is all about drama with a touch of whimsy. I started by selecting a single floating vanity and customized it with a Matte Black finish, a Black Marquina Quartz countertop and Matte Black Cup Pulls for hardware. I like the tubs, hate the gold fixtures, dislike green marble
I am not sold on either; however, as soon as I scrolled down into Christine’s “Black is Back” area, a calm feeling came up so, between the two I’d have to choose her design.
I just love that green wallpaper with the gold taps! I vote for Christine’s bathroom.
I like both designs but I give the edge to the white with gold accent of Evelyn’s.
