Weekend Project: DIY Fire Pit Project

Materials

  • Krylon® High Heat Max – Copper #16090
  • Krylon® High Heat Max – Black #16070
  • Fire Pit
  • Sandpaper
  • Rag
  • Drop Cloth

Instructions

  1. Set up a spray area by covering work area with a drop cloth. Make sure it is a well-ventilated area.
  2. Prep surface by sanding any rough areas, if necessary.
  3. Wipe down surface to remove dust and particles on the surface.
  4. Tape off legs of fire pit
  5. Apply even coats of Krylon® High Heat Max Copper to shelf of fire pit in a side-to-side motion
  6. Recoat until area is completely covered
  7. Allow paint to dry completely
  8. Tape off shelf of fire pit
  9. Apply even coats of Krylon® High Heat Max Black to legs of fire pit
  10. Recoat until area is completely covered
  11. Allow paint to dry completely
