dsc_1710 Gold Christmas Decor – Shine bright like a diamond this holiday! Designer Nicholas Rosaci creates a glam winter wonderland with metallic trees and soft jewel-tone ornaments. This season, I wanted to switch up my Holiday décor pallet with a fabulous mélange of glorious metallic gold trees adorned with soft pastel jewel tones. GOLD METALLIC TREES Gold is luxurious but used too much and you can “Trump” (no pun intended) everything else in the room. I balanced the brilliance of the gold trees with soft and demure pastel-hued ornaments. Blush pink, mauve, light jade and touches of pearl white look refined, and cool down the vibrant gold. dsc_1693 NATURAL ADORNMENTS Old world frosted silver German Santa’s, birds, and stems of faux white roses are a few favorite decorations that added an element of nature, lightness, and charm. I also love the look of trees dripping in clear glass icicles, acrylic diamonds and chandelier crystals. LIGHTS Candlelight is always perfect during the Holidays – just be safe. For this project we incorporated white pillar candles into the styling to add extra romance and glow that gave the room a cozy lux ski chalet feel. img_5705 WRAPPED WITH LOVE Pretty packages wrapped in black and white stripes and polka dots are an easy way to add that “designer look” to your wrapping. Keep it simple with a pink ribbon or up the glitter factor by tying a sparkly snowflake or chic “LOVE” heart-shaped ornament to the bow. dsc_1681 Gold Christmas Decor – WINTER WONDER The rest of the room was dressed in a more “winter” rather than “Christmas” direction, letting the trees truly shine as the main holiday focal point. Accessories like the white faux fur cushions and gold bowls filled with white spray-painted pinecones augment the great winter look but are also seasonally appropriate to last and enjoy well after the holidays have ended and the tree has been put away.
