Awesome Aqua

I absolutely love the colour Aqua, a combination of green and blue. The colour conjours images of tropical oceans and early morning skies. Clearly retro but at the same time eternally modern, Aqua is remarkably versatile working in a variety of colour combinations. Sophisticated and serene with ivory and sand, or punchy and playful with orange and navy, the palette possibilities are endless.

My favourite way to use the shade is pairing it with black and white! It looks especially chic with black painted cornices and baseboards, or set behind a gallery wall of black and white photography or colourful artwork. Last summer I even painted the backs of my Ikea Billy Bookcases in Benjamin Moore Baby Boy Blue 2056-50 and it completely energized my shelves and accessories with vibrant personality.
