Dream Kitchen Inspiration: Roches Point

While this project is an older project, completed a few year ago – it is one that I love to revisit from time to time when looking for dream kitchen inspiration. The classic style and timeless details never grow old and this kitchen offers a ton of inspiration!

This country home was thoughtfully and lovingly updated by the homeowner who is a designer in her own right as well. The kitchen was originally very small and cramped. A lovely bright addition was added to create an eating area with a cozy fireplace and view to the lake. The screened porch was reworked into a server area behind the main kitchen that really makes this lay out unique and saves the character of the exterior while adding to the charm of the inside.

On a bright summer day this house is so charming you feel like you are in the south of France. It is always a challenge to respect the heritage of the original house while updating the kitchen and the goal is to make it look like the new parts look like they have been there all along. – Rhonda Thornton, Bloomsbury Fine Cabinetry
