This gorgeous open concept basement was renovated with uniqueness in mind. The homeowners wanted something a little different than what they have on the other two storeys of the home but still wanted it all to flow nicely. They discussed their wish list with Capable Group and the team got right to work. They wanted it to flow not just with the rest of the home but with their beautiful backyard which features a pool. The basement living room area includes a gorgeous black mirror ceiling, that helps create a separate space without the use of walls. A mirrored ceiling has been used in Europe for many years but is much newer to North America. It comes in many colors and textures to go with any theme. Next, we have the stunning bar. The homeowners quickly fell in love with the gorgeous marble slab so the bar was created around it to tie the look together. They wanted lots of seating and the barstool countertop provides just that. It givesthem extra space to sit while showing off the main attraction, the countertop.
