Q: I never know how long to marinate meat. Is there such a thing as marinating something for too long?
Here’s an easy chart including the minimum and maximum time to marinate different types of meat for maximum flavour. Keep this on your refrigerator for quick reference!
Beef:
Minimum time – 4 hours
Maximum time – 12 hours
Fish:
Minimum time – 15 minutes
Maximum time – 30 minutes
Chicken:
Minimum time – 30 minutes
Maximum time – 6 hours
