What’s in store for 2014? This year’s trends are sophisticated, luxurious, refined yet colourful, with a hint of exotic style. (As Seen In Canadian Home Trends Magazine Winter 2014)

An Old Favourite

Image 3 of 6

Fighting for colour supremacy, surveys done in Europe and the U.S. put blue at the top by close to 50 per cent. And why not? It’s the colour of the sea and sky, jeans and gems. It can be soft and serene, or rich and bold. Blue works with just about every colour scheme and every style from earth-friendly to opulent. In 2014 it will be showing up in some of its most vibrant forms like ultramarine, sapphire and navy. Making appearances everywhere from pillows, wallpaper and even to kitchen cabinets, blue is one of this year’s biggest colours.
