Lexie is a furniture flipper + DIY enthusiast, creating custom pieces of wooden furniture for her clients. After being laid off twice due to Covid-19, Lexie decided to use her free time to flip an old dresser that had been passed down from her grandmother. Despite having no experience, the dresser turned out amazing! Having fallen in love with the process, Lexie decided to turn furniture flipping into a business and launched Furniture Flips by Lexi in 2020 with an Instagram page to show off her projects. Since that time, she has been able to buy a house with her own workshop space. Now she is able to wake up and do what she loves everyday! “Don’t throw out that piece of furniture!!” says Lexie “9/10 times your dated piece of furniture can be saved with a little TLC.” For those who love a DIY as much as Lexie, she now offers an eCourse to help take the guess work out of flipping your own furniture pieces as well!

Lexie is very hands-on when it comes to her business. She is the designer, marketer, schedule coordinator, content creator, creative director, customer service and complaint center. Lexie loves having complete control over each stage of the process, ensuring each client gets personalized attention from the start to finish of their project. She loves to share her story to inspire others and has appeared in magazines and on news radio stations across Canada.
