If you’re a coffee lover like me then you need to get your hands on the new DeLonghi Magnifica XS Espresso Maker.. we recently got one for our office at TIDG. My only problem is that I have to share it because the staff and clients love it just as much as I do!

Sometimes we tend to overlook instructions, but for this, I would strongly suggest thoroughly going through the booklet and making sure everything is set up properly and in good working order to optimize your experience. Once you’ve got it going, it’s almost too easy to use – even for dummy baristas like myself – the machine tells you what to do!

The machine has an area for already ground coffee which is great, and an area to put whole beans where they are ground for you, which I prefer. It even makes my favourite, cappuccinos, with the touch of just one button! One of the things about this machine that I’m most appreciative of is how easy it is to clean. It rinses itself and all of the components are easily removable.

You’ve heard me say it before .. “It’s all about good lighting” and it’s even true for the Magnifica XS. It’s got a brilliantly bright LED light, it’s compact, great for small spaces, it looks nice on the counter.. that’s the designer side coming out of me! And I have to mention that for the quality your getting, the price is just right.

It’s turned into the highlight of my day. When I come to the office in the morning I make a b-line straight for the machine.. which has got me thinking about how much I’d like a cappuccino right now (and did I mention, to make a cappuccino, you only need to press one button?)!
