Elegant Blue & Gold Office Design by Negar Reihani

When designing an office, you need to keep it fun and visually stimulating yet calm and collected so you get inspired and not distracted. For this office, I selected finishes that are modern and simple with a twist. I started by creating a deep, dark background by using a wallpaper called Leathered Tiles by Nina Hancock from her new Precious Moments collection for an accent wall and painting the remaining walls in Van Deusen Blue from Benjamin Moore. Light, elegant furniture really pop against the dramatic background!

For lighting, I choose a ceiling fixture from the Soleil series at Living Lighting to bring in the warmth of gold which plays beautifully balances the gold. I then finished the look with artwork, accessories and furniture the offer touches of gold and a subtle “bling” through glass and acrylic surfaces, softening up the space and giving it a feminine touch.
