Panini Sticks With Dipping Trio

Sometimes picking up a convenience product and adding a few simple embellishments is all it takes to truly make it your own. This very shareable treat is just as easy to make as it is to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Extra-virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp. – 15 mL
  • Finely chopped fresh rosemary – 1 tsp. - 5 mL
  • Dried marjoram, crushed – 1 tsp. – 5 mL
  • Square panini breads (8 x 8 inches – 20 x 20 cm) – 2
  • Coarse salt, sprinkle
  • SUN-DRIED TOMATO DIP
  • Tzatziki sauce - 1/3 cup – 75 mL
  • Sun-dried tomato pesto – 2 tsp. – 10 mL
  • Chili paste (sambal oelek) – 1/4 tsp. – 1 mL
  • LEMON AIOLI DIP
  • Roasted garlic mayonnaise – 1/3 cup – 75 mL
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp. – 10 mL
  • Grated lemon zest – 1 tsp. – 5 mL
  • TZIKI HERB DIP
  • Tzatziki sauce – 1/3 cup – 75 mL
  • Chopped fresh dill – 1 1/2 tsp. – 7 mL
  • Chopped fresh mint – 1 1/2 tsp. – 7 mL
  • Lemon pepper – 1/2 tsp. – 2 mL

Instructions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients and brush on panini breads. Cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide strips and arrange, close together, on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt. Bake in a 400ºF (205ºC) oven for about 8 minutes until edges are crisp.
  2. SUN-DRIED TOMATO DIP
  3. Combine all 3 ingredients.
  4. LEMON AIOLI DIP
  5. Combine all 3 ingredients.
  6. TZIKI HERB DIP
  7. Combine all 4 ingredients.
  8. Serve dips with panini sticks.

Notes

Presentation inspiration: Provide individual plates so guests can serve themselves a spoonful of each dip. This way guests can sample all three—and it will help to avoid the temptation to double-dip!
