To obtain the perfect basted eggs, crack the eggs in a greased pan on medium heat. Once the egg white starts to solidify pour 1 tbsp of water beside the eggs and cover immediately with a lid to capture the steam. Let them cook 1 ½ to 2 minutes. The eggs are done when the egg whites have set and the egg yolks are covered with a slight white layer.
