As we round the bend into the second half of the decade, we can expect a colourful, eclectic mix of trends. 2015 promises to be an exciting year for design, with some interesting twists on old trends, and some shiny, brand new ones.

Colour, and Lots of It!

This year there are some stunning standouts on the colour wheel. Peacock blue, teal and forest green create a sublime cool palette. Beige is back as a light neutral with warm gold undertones. You’ll notice lavender seems to be everywhere. In a subtle, sophisticated way, it can also be used as a neutral. Moving into spring, we’ll see lots of soft, muted pastels with deep reds as a bold statement colour. All of this year’s colours can be easily paired with the ubiquitous, neutral palette of grey, cream and gold.
