While working in the building industry, Pat Acquisto discovered a lack of resources focused on seniors and people with disabilities. In 2017, he launched Pro Accessibility Ltd, a Baeumler Approved company, with the goal to design and build homes that would be safe and accessible for all ages, disabilities and abilities. Pat’s pursuit for excellence in this unique field has grown into many achievements including being a CAPS CERTIFIED Aging in Place Specialist, Building Accessible Excellence Accessor (Excellence Canada) and the Accessible Home Modification Chair of the Canadian Home Builder Association. For Pat, being able to provide an understanding and accommodating service that helps seniors looking to age in their home and bring independence for people with disabilities is the greatest achievement. From designing homes that will accommodate future needs to renovating existing spaces to improve function and accessibility, Pat works with each client to ensure they have a home they can enjoy for many years to come.
