Painting your front door is potentially the easiest and most popular way to improve your home’s curb appeal – the tricky part is choosing a color.

(First time painting a door? As always, we’ve got you covered.)

High-gloss Blue

For a cream colored home, a front door painted navy blue will really pop, and lend a look of subtle luxury, reminiscent of Victorian-era homes in London. Prime the door beforehand to ensure maximal shine out of your high-gloss paint job.

Terracotta Red

As predicted, (http://canadianhometrends.com/interior-design-trends-for-2017/ ) terracotta is indeed popular this year, and not just in tile form! For a warmer look than the aforementioned navy blue, terracotta red is rich, cheerful, and makes for a statement look for your front door.

Greenery

Not only is greenery the color of the year, but it also symbolizes renewal and revitalization, according to the ancient teachings of fen shui. We love the idea of this energy-packed color on your front door, where you and your family will interact with it every day.

Inky Black

There’s nothing quite as timeless as black, and this goes for your clothes, as well as your front door. A black door can look classic and crisp, and will really pop against a home painted in a contrasting shade, such as grey or off-white.
