Cheerful Bedroom Design Board with Designer Yvonne Whelan. For this cheerful, modern bedroom, I started with a warm earthy Antique French floor in Bordeaux and a neutral wall color paired with Beauti-Tone’s Color of the Year, Tropic of Conversation. I would use this bold color to paint a sliding barn door for a stunning feature. Furniture and accessories in bold, black and white patterns give the space a very modern feel. A few pops of orange carry the barn door color throughout the room without overcomplicating the look. – Yvonne Whelan
