For this bathroom design, I envisioned a spa like space with nature inspired elements and a contemporary feel mixed with unexpected details.

The star of the space is the bathing area. I choose to place a freestanding tub with an arching design in front of a feature wall created using AMES 4D tiles installed floor to ceiling behind the tub with an edging in turquoise mosaics along each side. I envision this centered on a wall with the remaining wall and other walls painted in a corresponding white color, allowing the tub area to become the focal point of the room. Finally, I tied the color into the tub filler faucet from Rubinet, customized in a modern chrome finish with aqua details.

To continue the nature-inspired look of the 4D tile, I replaced the vanity with a love edge slab. I would do two slabs, one for the counter top and a second below to create a shelf. While a live edge counter top often has a rustic feel, this counter top has a light finish and is topped with a pair of sinks in a modern shape which keeps the look crisp and clean. Wall mounted faucets over each sink match the design of the tub filler with aqua accents as well.

This so many details already integrated into the room, I would opt for a simple wall to wall mirror over the vanity with the faucets and lighting installed over the mirror. This helps to break up the space and keeps the unique details within the space from becoming overwhelming. For lighting, I choose pieces that offer simple, clean lines for the same reason.

Finally, to tie the room together and give it a warm, welcoming feel, I would carry the wood theme from the live edge counter top into the floor with a wood-look porcelain tile or into the accessories with a bathmat, wall art, or other accessories in a wood finish that corresponds with the color of the counter top.
