A Glamorous Office Design from our DIY Editor

Like a signature this office is truly unique. From its intriguing and glamorous colour palette of dark inky purple to the modern glossy bright white work surfaces, I set out to create a glamorous home “think tank” for a fashion conscious homeowner that stands out with functionality, elegance and above all personality.

The main desk, finished in an impeccably crisp gloss white with hits of slick chrome, married well with the Besta Burs table. A sexy white faux snakeskin storage trunk and muted grey file cabinet tucked underneath functions as handy additions to hold files and supplies needed for the day, keeping the main desk clear of clutter.

An eye-catching drop crystal chandelier shines down, illuminating the space below. The “open” circle motif of the drum shade repeated on the guest chairs, which were sprayed “a la DIY” with metallic spray paint to work with the colour pallette.
