After nearly two years of lock downs and stay at home orders, Canadians have learned to embrace the joy that can be found in the everyday moments of our lives right in our own homes. This year’s Color of the Year from KitchenAid embraces that concept, offering a rich magenta tone that brings elegant color into your kitchen, breaking up the every day with a pop of gorgeous, eye catching color! Beetroot reminds us to break out of our routines and see the familiar with a new lens! You can add this statement making color to your kitchen with a range of small appliances, including the iconic Artisan Stand Mixer and K400 Blender, now available in Beetroot!

We were inspired by this bold color to create a kitchen that blends modern finishes with beautiful color. For a classic look that can be grow with you over the years, we started with a neutral base featuring flooring, cabinetry and countertops in classic neutrals. An elegant marble mosaic tile adds just a hint of color to the space while maintaining a primarily neutral look and a touch of luxury.

Creating a more neutral kitchen palette allows us to play with color in the fixtures and accessories while being able to easily update to other color schemes as tastes and trends change threw the years. To play off the bold Beetroot KitchenAid appliances, we selected pieces that add elegance and a touch of traditional luxury to the space including bar stools, pendant lighting and serving ware. The finished look offers a modern space with a bold, colorful palette and a trouch of traditional luxury that really makes the space feel exciting and fresh.
