Jordan had no intention of persuing a career in construction. Prior to joining Tall Pines Drywall, he was working towards a degree in Theology and Philosophy. What was meant to be a temporary position with a friend’s drywall crew changed the direction of Jordan’s career ambitions. Jordan found he enjoyed building relationships with the clients while at the same time being able to start his own business and spend more time with family. Tall Pines Drywall was incorporated in 2022 and together with his partners, they have 15-25 years of experience in the industry. Jordan sees his company as standing shoulder to shoulder with the customers as partners trying to figure out the best way to get them what they want. Tall Pines Drywall focuses on small private homeowners who are building, renovating, or adding onto their homes where the goal is to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Don’t be afraid to speak your mind.” says Jordan “It’s your project and your life. Find someone who listens more than they speak. If you are choosing a contractor, make sure it is a person or company that you feel comfortable dealing with. Whoever you hire will be coming into your personal space and that should feel as comfortable as possible.”
CANADIAN HOME TRENDS: If you could go back 20 years, what advice would you give your younger self?
JORDAN WIEBE: To invest in myself earlier. It’s never too late to learn and grow. I don’t feel like I’ve wasted my younger years, but if I had started earlier with some things I would get more years of compounding returns (and I’m not just talking about money!).
CHT: Name one thing on your bucket list.
JW: I’d love to record an album with the songs I have written throughout my life.
CHT: What is your favorite room in your house?
JW: The Living Room/Dining Room. Big windows and a place where my family can come together and enjoy each other’s company. Every Friday night we play a board game together at the dining room table and it’s one of the highlights of the week. www.tallpinesdrywall.com
