Dear Marc:

I am designing my five year old daughter’s room and I’d like to create something with her to hang on her wall. Any ideas?

Dear Chantelle:

That sounds like an exciting project! Kid’s bedrooms are fun to design as the furnishings are usually very colourful and whimsical. I have the perfect mother-daughter project for this room. It’s a simple DIY that requires very few supplies and offers hours of colouring fun!

Step 2:

Hang the canvas on her wall and voila, she has created a custom art piece she will treasure for years.
