It took some time for Summer to emerge from behind the curtains of clouds and wet weather, but now she is in full sweltering glow. Like a Diva who shows up late but never disappoints, Summer is finally ready for her close up and along with it, my dramatic & colourful terrace!
I decorate outside no different from the way I would inside. I like to borrow design cues from my interiors, like bold colour, scale, proportion, and interesting texture combinations and apply them out under the sun. The Wonder of Spray Paint
And no patio redo would ever be complete without the use of spray paint – the secret to making just about anything match the colour of your dream décor. I can’t tell you how many times I gave funishings and accessories new lives just by using some paint! It is no accident that my gold solar birds match my gold loveseat! I just love the stuff – especially automotive spray paints that hold up to heat, cover metals beautifully, and come in an array of special great colours like – 50’s chrsyler baby blue, racing car red, – or crème Cadillac white!
