Bread machine recipes are so simple and easy because all the hard labor is taken care of. I personally prefer to bake my bread in the oven since I find that the end product is much better. The crust is a crisp golden brown and the inside is soft and fluffy. I also like the traditional bread shape as opposed to the square shape that you get from the bread maker.

Bread Machine Recipes Caution for Beginners!
When you are starting out using your bread machine for the first time, you want to make sure that you follow the recipe and don’t substitute any ingredients. The best piece of advice I can give you is to learn the consistency of the bread using the store bought mix and then venture out into alternative recipes. Another important thing to keep in mind is that not all flour is the same. One could easily think that swapping out white flour with whole wheat using a 1 to 1 ratio would yield the same results but that is not the case. Remember, follow the recipe and you won’t be disappointed with the results! Happy Baking!
