Nine Tips for Designing a Romantic Bedroom

The bedroom is your sanctuary. It is the place you begin your day and end your day. Romantic may be visually defined differently by everyone. However you design your bedroom, it should make you exhale and feel great when you walk into it daily.

What makes any space romantic? A combination of elements which set the mood which include lighting, texture, colour and accessories. Like a luxurious hotel suite, the room needs to be oozing with comfort and restful ambiance.

To achieve the ultimate romantic bedroom, lighting is the key to creating the ‘mood’. The easiest way to create mood with lighting is to add dimmers to all your light fixtures in the bedroom. Purchase lamps which allow you to install a tri-light bulb (a bulb which operates on 3 different wattage options).
