Over the last few years the idea of a small space is getting progressively smaller. There was a time when moving into an eight-hundred square foot urban condo seemed like moving into a large closet; however, now a six-hundred square foot condo is not uncommon to find. It also seems the perception of working with a designer on such a small space is like hiring a wedding planner to go to city hall with two friends. Nothing could be further from the truth. Making a life work in a small space means that you cannot take one square foot for granted. Proper space planning is paramount to making the space functional.
